Round Two

Last year I blogged about a fun little trip we went on to Bear Lake, where my sister got engaged. Last weekend, almost exactly a year later, we were invited to go up again with the Stecklings, Paige's in-laws, for some skiing and snowmobiling. It was such a blast!

On Saturday we left bright and early to go to breakfast together and then head out for a full day of snowmobiling.

Snowmobiling is seriously SO much fun. And it's actually such a good workout too. I was sore for the next couple of days afterwards...

Me, Paige, Noelle...

Noelle and I walking out to the turquoise blue lake...this is right outside the Stecklings' cabin <3

Ski day! The girls had a ski day together at Bear Lake's fun little ski resort on Monday, while the guys went snowmobiling again.

Dan and I have been trying to just embrace the cold Utah winter this year. Might as well enjoy it and take advantage by playing in the snow when you can!

Because I miss summer time...

I meant to post pictures from this little adventure Daniel and I had with my brothers over the summer a while ago, but I just never got around to it.

and what better time than now when I'm sitting at home, indoors, missing summer time.

Daniel and I are lucky enough to own a tandem, and two single bikes. Those bikes make for some fun adventures during warmer weather. On this adventure, we took them out with my brothers and rode up Provo Canyon to Bridal Veil Falls.

The ride ended up being a little longer, and more uphill, than my brothers were expecting. Hah

Once we got to the top of the first "tier" of hiking up the waterfall, Daniel and Trent were insistent on making our own trail to try to make it up higher. Rhett and I were skeptical. Haha Rhett was actually very skeptical.

But once we got up there, it was totally worth it. The waterfall was sooo pretty and we had fun taking pictures :)

and the guys had fun showing off their bods.

and daring each other to go under the ice cold waterfall.

If that doesn't make you miss summer I don't what will! Luckily it hasn't been too cold around here lately (if you think 39 degrees isn't that cold).
