college graduates

Daniel and I are now both graduates from BYU!

I feel blessed to have been able to go to BYU. I was able to get a degree and also strengthen my testimony of the gospel while at this amazing school. Yes, it was tough, and there were one too many times when I walked out of that testing center wanting to drop out all together, but it was so worth it.

I will say that as much as I loved BYU, it feels so great to be done! No more late nights of homework or writing lesson plans...no more tears after looking up at the testing center monitor and seeing a horrible grade on the test I just took...no more hiking up those dreaded stairs all over campus...and no more spending hundreds of dollars on text books.

There will be some things I'll miss though. Those things include classes like teaching tennis, teaching aerobics, teaching flag football...teaching any and every sport...haha, and also some of the religion classes like marriage and family prep, Book of Mormon (I learned a TON), New Testament, and living prophets. I also had some of the funnest professors and people in my major who I will miss.

I'm so grateful for the support of my husband and family throughout my time at BYU. I couldn't have done it without them. Daniel has helped me with countless homework assignments, and I literally called my mom everyday of my college career (and my life...sometimes multiple times per day) for help and advice. I'm so grateful that my parents made the trip up to Utah to support me this weekend as I received my diploma.

Thank you BYU for an awesome 4 years! <3
